Digital Marketing  and Social Media Experience

Digital marketing is a growing and changing industry that has always been a great interest to me. Being apart of the Caravan team, I have gained experience in being involved in various projects that involved managing  social media accounts for hospitality and food + beverage clients, creating digital and print ads for magazine publications, building content calendars, and planning events. With these projects, I have enjoyed creating marketing assets such as newsletters, menus, and signage. I have worked with all types of clients including, wellness, beauty, hospitality, food and beverage, and fitness. Please see below for my work in my current role in Caravan as a PR and Marketing Coordinator and my previous social media internship at Shamone Media.

Ariccia Italiana Cucina is a restaurant located inside Hotel Auburn in Auburn, AL. Along with managing both social accounts, I had the pleasure of creating digital and print ads to help promote their new menus, brunch, event spaces, and more. 

Ariccia is also connected to another part of Auburn’s community called the Tony and Libba Rane Center that will open August 2022. One of their concepts will be a luxury hotel called The Laurel Hotel and Spa and to promote the opening I created 2 print ads for that as well.

Menus
Below are a few menus to promote Ariccia's holiday specials and dinners. Each menu would be posted to their website and printed out for guests.

CARAVAN MARKETING

Caravan Marketing is the company’s Instagram where we share the accomplishments of our clients like press hits, events and reposts, behind the scenes snippets, and informative graphics. I created a content calendar each month and posted at least 2-3 times a week to reach engagement and follower goals. Each month, I would collect all our analytics and come up with a strategy to keep high engagement and gain more followers. Our feed consists of reposts from our clients, but also creative graphics with informative captions that I created on Canva. Below are a few graphics and a notecard that includes our brand colors.

POLITAN ROW

Politan Row is a food hall with 11 independent food vendors located in Midtown Atlanta. I had the honor of being apart of Politan Row’s opening in June 2021, and one of the main responsibilities that we had was event activation and promotion. The main activations are still ongoing today and include vendor dinner parties, passport dinners, drag queen bingo, and live music. Each month, I planned, booked and executed several events that were happening inside the food hall. It gave me the opportunity to connect with plenty of musicians, hosts and vendors. Along with planning events, I created promotional assets like the drag queen bingo cards, table talkers, and flyers that are attached below. 

JOJO'S BELOVED

Jojo’s Beloved is a 70s/80s inspired cocktail lounge that is located inside Politan Row. What I created for Jojo’s is very similar to what we did for Politan Row. During most events or major holidays, I had the privilege of designing menus and table talkers to promote any events. Most flyers I created were shared to their 21.5k followers on Instagram and each event was sold out immediately. Please see below for a few holiday flyers and menus.

SHAMONE MEDIA

Fashion & Social Media Internship

Shamone Media was an internship that taught me more about social media then I could ever imagine. Growing up with social media, I thought I knew everything there was to know about it. I was greatly mistaken, however, I learned about creating social media calendars for each client’s Instagram page, engaging with specific target audiences, and creating content to keep followers engaged. Creating content was a personal favorite and using Hootsuite, Canva, and Over to post and create content really helped gain followers for my clients. The Instagram pages I managed ranged from beauty, to fitness, to fashion. Below are snapshots of Instagram content and a list of accounts I managed/posted content for.

@FITHEREPYCO

Fitherapyco is an Instagram dedicated to fitness goals, tips, motivation and a fitness shop. It's target audience includes other personal trainers, gym goers, fitness enthusiasts, and lovers of fitness apparel.  When making content for this brand, I focused on keeping the colors consistent (orange & purple) to fit their clothing colors and aesthetic. Carousels were a follower favorite & kept them engaged. I posted Instagram stories every Monday for #motivationalmonday and used the app Over and Canva to help with producing content.

Shopglamchickz was an account I spent most of my time managing, creating, and writing blog posts for. As a fashion brand, I learned the importance of getting influencers with a high following to model and support the brand. Reaching out to Instagram influencers was one of my favorite things to do, and really helped the brand gain exposure.  Having influencers really helped when it came to content creation. I played around with showcasing different ways to wear the apparel, influencers modeling the outfits they came up with, and posting fashion related quotes and sayings.

Shopshenaford is a beauty brand that specializes in hair care products for women and men. Their Instagram is dedicated to promoting hair tips, transformations, and their plant based products. My primary focus when creating content was to post motivational quotes and sayings to get engagement and to connect with the followers. Hair tips and how to be confident in your natural hair was a reoccurring theme for this page as well. Promoting self love in form of natural beauty was a target I was aiming for when it came to promoting Shena Ford’s brand and it gravitated a lot of positive feedback and a boost in her followings.
