MY WORK

Below is my collection of articles that I have worked on throughout my college career. In most of my pieces I discussed topics that centered around drug/alcohol issues and being a first generation student in college. While each article is different, my main focus was to bring awareness to social issues and to help others. In “Future in the First” and “U-Lead” I discussed the highs and lows of what it can feel like being a first generation student in high school and college.  In “Nicole Santos” and “Science Behind the Smoke” I brought awareness to two things that can be very well known around college campuses, drunk driving and vaping. One article highlights what the Athens community does to combat drinking and driving, while the other tells how vaping can be dangerous to your body.
